Case Study 2: Equipment Purchase
Problem:
An existing CPO Advantage client's laboratory and office space was expanding. There were a number of one-time expenses to be incurred, and the client assumed it would need to pay retail price for these one-time purchases.
Solution:
We performed a spend analysis and goal analysis to identify new furniture, fixture, and equipment needs necessary to outfit the new office and to expand existing office capabilities. CPO Advantage identified goals around cost-versus-quality, budget, and the time frame in which the supplies needed to be delivered and provided a goal-compliant solution proposal.
Results:
Our client was able to order a total of 267 items without having to independently research them, and CPO Advantage was able to deliver all of the products on time and on budget, well below what would have been paid when acquired through conventional channels.
